Retreats » Retreat in Estonia
Estonia, the country in northern Europe, borders the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland. Formerly part of the Soviet Union, it`s dotted with castles, churches and hilltop fortresses. The capital, Tallinn, is known for its preserved medieval Old Town, museums and the 314 meter high TV tower, which has an observation deck. There are several reasons to visit Estonia; beautiful nature with untouched forests and bogs, white sandy beaches, parks and natural reserves; great culinary experiences with cozy cafes and affordable fine dining restaurants; a unique old town with historical buildings and enchanting architecture; a lot of options for shopping from handycraft stores to designer boutiques.
During the retreat you will stay in Saka Manor, Saka Gliff Hotel & Spa, which is the pearl of the north Estonian coastal cliffs.
It is a place high up on the limestone bank, where natural and cultural heritage meet: the mansion in neo-renaissance style risen from ruins and the limestone bank chosen as one of the Estonian national icons.
Saka is one of the few manors in Estonia that has been fully restored. The mansion, reminiscent of Italian renaissance architecture, as well as newer buildings, surrounded by a park, have all been carefully renovated.
During your stay you can use pool area, finnish and steam sauna.
